Etosha National Park Holidays

Etohsa National Park was Namibia’s first conservation area. Of the 114 different species of mammal found in the park several are rare and endangered, such as the cheetah, black rhino and black-faced impala. Etosha, meaning ‘place of dry water’ encloses a huge flat pan that contains water after good rains which in turn attracts thousands of flamingos. The park offers excellent game viewing around the waterholes in the dry season and some of these are lit by flood lights for night time game viewing.
