Namibia Safari Holidays

Famous for its dramatic and harsh landscapes Namibia is home to canyons, deep gorges and the highest sand dunes on earth. To the North, tens of thousands of animals gather at the waterholes of Etosha in the dry season creating one of the world’s best wildlife viewing sites.

Etosha is one of Africa’s largest wildlife preserves. The horizon is dotted with springbok and zebra but it is the glimpse of an endangered black rhino that will be so memorable. The waterholes lure leopards, lions and elephants. The Skeleton coast recalls the bones of whales and wrecks of ships cast up on the coastline by the South Atlantic rough sea. Damaraland, a wild rugged region of flat-topped mountains and granite boulders hides a fascinating tribal history. The Nomadic Ovahimba tribes are one of the last in southern Africa. Incredible rock engravings can be seen at Twyfelfontein.
