Zambia Safari Holidays

Zambia is the home of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders, the breath taking Victoria Falls. The falls can be seen in all its glory during the highest flows from May to June. Zambia is shaped by three great rivers, bordered by three massive lakes and has low environmental impact game viewing which has preserved its wild places and wildlife. It has an impressive 19 national parks and the lush forests and plains support over 750 bird species.

The prime wildlife regions are mostly concentrated around the Luangwa, Kafue and Zambezi rivers which provide rich grassy habitats for a variety of animals. Kafue is Zambia’s largest national park, with a mix of different habitats that attract many species of plain game, but it is only open from July through to November making it Zambia’s less visited option. South Luangwa National Park in the east of the country is a place of rugged beauty known for being one of the best places to spot leopard.
