Makgadikgadi National Park Holidays

The Makgadikgadi Pans are the remains of a vast lake that once spread over most of north Botswana, making it one the largest saltpans in the world. Here you can see the brown hyena as well as aardvarks, meerkat and other game and predators. During the wet season, November to March, you can see the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and springbok, as they are tracked by predators. The dry season from March to September provides a very unique feeling of isolation across the desolate pans, a truly magical experience as you watch the sunset.
